This, I believe, is the highest falls in the UK. The river falls over a vertical lip into a pool half way down and then goes under a natural arch of hard rock. It is counted as one of the 7 Wonders of Wales.

This is indeed a beautiful place Margaret. On a warm sunny day the greens are vibrant and the spray refreshing. But autumn colours are good too, and after a rainy period you see the falls at their best. Make sure you visit.
