Hi Natalia, There are so many sunset photos out there, thank you so much for opening the thumbnail for a closer look, and being first to comment, you are in my good book. Cheers, Rob

Very nice, Rob. I like how you balanced the orange on the edge with the pool down in front. Good work.

Hi not1word, Thank you for your insightful comment. One wonders how much it is conscious effort, following 'rules', or just what feels right through the viewfinder. Cheers, Rob

I find that to be very true. I suppose, as it's been pointed out to me, that if the rules are in your head, you'll sometimes unconsciously follow them given the proper set of possibilities. That "feel" may be what led to the rules. Is that too much thinking for weekend conversation?

Hi not1word, Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated, and I quite agree. I read of your camera history. I too had a Minolta SLR and was slow to convert to digital. I sometimes miss the level of manual control, but am happy to be rid of the weight and extra lenses, and especially like being able to take several shots without wasting film. Cheers, Rob

Boy are you right about the film. I used to shoot an average of two rolls a month, but now I'll get in a mood and just start mashing down on the ol' shutter release like light was going to go away and never return.

Wonderful sunset photo! Very nice colors! Greetings!

Hi Alex, Thank you very much. It's the way the yellow changes to red so smoothly that I realy like. Cheers, Rob
