Crater Lake

This is another place I wanted to see while in Oregon but didn't. I love this composition Rob. So much to look at. The star of the shot(that moss covered stump) has some great detail in it. Nicely done.

Hi Tom. I am realy chuffed to be on your favourites, and am glad you returned to find some to comment on. I feel the steep climb was rewarded by this shot, and it was a little precarious getting the stump positioned. Great place to visit, I was just blown away by how vividly blue the water was. I was born in Reading, now live nearer York, and have a sister in Lancaster, but while you're looking at a map of Pennsylvania, I'll wish you greetings from The East Riding Of Yorkshire, UK.
