This Photo was most likely taken 3-11-06, this is very rare!!! Capitola being at ocean level never gets snow and actually this isn't "snow" its actually Ice from a severe hailstorm the previous night, beautiful though and great photo.

I remember snow on the ground in Santa Monica in the early 70's too. I think it lasted an hour or two.
