Ah, the simple shots are often so good! Well done.
Cheers, Tony in New Zealand
Agreed ~ and many thanks Tony
i knew what i was in the thumb nail see a few in england my self. steve
ah but where Steve?
i spent 2 month in england all over, 9 months in europe but its all on slide no digital in 82.
hey ho ~ know the feeling ~ and where do all the old trannies go?
My OM-2 is in a can with silica gel i just cant quite get rid of it and all the lenses but it great to have Total control of your photos rather than some one else. in the case of my parent it costs them nothing till they print and like me they only print A4 bordeless photo.
yeah I have a film pentax and a handful of lenses sitting in a bag somewhere ~ it worked hard for me for many years ~ like you ~ digital rules and I love it
I have not seen one of these in years. Very nice to see this photo! And it is a great one of this gate. Well done!
Does that mean either that you have visited us in the UK or you originally came from the UK? Thanks Jean for dropping by
Beautiful picture with great colors and nice sharp details. Great view!
The camera makes it sharp ~ well if I focus it correctly :) Nature provides the colours with some help from the sun and I make the composition ~ not a bad team all working together ~ Thank you so much for your very kind words Finn and friendly greetings to you too
What a wonderful picture!! Congratulations Nick.
thank you very much Anton your compliments are very much appreciated. friendly greetings
That is a wonderful late sun photo and a brilliant solution for dog walkers. Thanks for the explanation.
Hi again Skida you are very welcome - it was an early morning shot I had only had the camera a couple of days and was going back to the supplying shop later that morning to attend a one day course on learning the basics of the D700 - so maybe the clock was wrong when I took this shot. Sunrise/sunset ~ the golden hour either way.
Hello good morning Nick,
it's a very interesting construction. I've seen such like this in the television some times ago. Thanks for the nice picture.
Kind regards Norbert
Hi Norbert and a very good morning to you. Thanks for your visit and thanks for the compliments ~ it is also interesting to learn that this type of style/dog gate has been featured on television at some time or other. Have a great day
Landscape and colours look lovely, an excellent picture Nick!
Oh dear ~ I'm so sorry Manfred that I somehow overlooked your kind words here that you posted % days ago! Please forgive me and many thanks for your visit. Friendly greetings Nick
