Nick Weall on December 3, 2008

hey ho ~ know the feeling ~ and where do all the old trannies go?

Steve Paxton on December 3, 2008

My OM-2 is in a can with silica gel i just cant quite get rid of it and all the lenses but it great to have Total control of your photos rather than some one else. in the case of my parent it costs them nothing till they print and like me they only print A4 bordeless photo.

Nick Weall on December 3, 2008

yeah I have a film pentax and a handful of lenses sitting in a bag somewhere ~ it worked hard for me for many years ~ like you ~ digital rules and I love it

Jean Gregory Evans on December 3, 2008

I have not seen one of these in years. Very nice to see this photo! And it is a great one of this gate. Well done!

Does that mean either that you have visited us in the UK or you originally came from the UK? Thanks Jean for dropping by

Beautiful picture with great colors and nice sharp details. Great view!

Greetings. Finn.

Nick Weall on December 4, 2008

The camera makes it sharp ~ well if I focus it correctly :) Nature provides the colours with some help from the sun and I make the composition ~ not a bad team all working together ~ Thank you so much for your very kind words Finn and friendly greetings to you too

ANTON CRUZ on December 4, 2008

thank you very much Anton your compliments are very much appreciated. friendly greetings

skida on December 5, 2008

That is a wonderful late sun photo and a brilliant solution for dog walkers. Thanks for the explanation.

Nick Weall on December 5, 2008

Hi again Skida you are very welcome - it was an early morning shot I had only had the camera a couple of days and was going back to the supplying shop later that morning to attend a one day course on learning the basics of the D700 - so maybe the clock was wrong when I took this shot. Sunrise/sunset ~ the golden hour either way.

Kind regards

Hello good morning Nick,

it's a very interesting construction. I've seen such like this in the television some times ago. Thanks for the nice picture.

Kind regards Norbert

Nick Weall on December 5, 2008

Hi Norbert and a very good morning to you. Thanks for your visit and thanks for the compliments ~ it is also interesting to learn that this type of style/dog gate has been featured on television at some time or other. Have a great day
