I am extremely proud of the fact that I was able to return this single serving of SPAM back to its traditional ancestral home. It was pleased as well, although its pleasure was short lived, as a pack of hungry foreign exchange students saw it and consumed it on the spot. Packaging and all.

I like how the handle of the backpack echos the arch in the background. And the SPAM photo is almost the same colour as the dirt! Remarkable!

Thanks for the visits and the comments, stoneboat. I hadn't noticed either of those things yet.

SPAM'll do that to you. I think it's the nitrates.

Thank you for your very astute observations, Bruce. My gallery is a much better place as a result.

I'm guessing this is one for the folks in Hawaii? Love it.

Actually, Kathy, it's more for the select group of people who tend to look at life in a slightly skewed fashion.

However, I do want to thank you for bringing that up, as I was going to link to that story tonight. What a strange small world it is.

It would seem that the Powers That Be in Panoramio recognize the superiority of the SPAM, they having chosen this image to be included in the Look Around set for this location. Undoubtedly it is because of the social and historical significance surrounding the events of the SPAM being returned to its aboriginal homeland. Ye doubters, take notice. We shall not be trifled with.

Yes, of cours..Spam Triffling is a crime! This is a wonderful shot! I wonder...has that spam been other places?

This same package is in all of my SPAM shots. It's an old friend, and enjoys travelling.

My husband and I are now calling this "Spam Arch":

Oh dear. I hope that the Department of the Interior doesn't hear that, Kathy. They'll never let me visit again.

Yessir, Bruceifer. You betcha!

Well, I don't exactly condone the practice, Bob, but I do engage in a bit of product placement from time to time. Greetings to you.
