Thanks for the complements BRI. My father shot these on Kodachrome when it became available to amateur photographers in the late 1930's. It had a speed of ASA 8, so the exposure time was long, even in the daytime, and was pure guesswork for night shots. He told me that he used up a roll of film for each of the shots that turned out ok.
Yes, they will be given a wider showing. A couple years ago I donated hi-res versions of these pictures to the Treasure Island Museum Association: www.treasureislandmuseum.org
Interestingly, they already had a few night color shots, so there were other people experimenting with color film at the GGIE too.
