Isla de Taquile en Titicaca
Not selected for Google Earth or Google Maps after a second review [?]
portraits and photos including people are not selected for Google Earth because Panoramio is about places, not about people, if this photo was accepted then Panoramio will be completely full of photos of people because they are many more than photos about places
Pretty girls from Taquile. Taquile is an interesting place in the Lake Titicaca. I also have some pictures of Uros and Taquile in PM. Many greetings from the canton of Aargau. rokapi2008
Hi Eduardo! I read your comment about deleting Ezios fotos. I am sorry for that. Even if I understand that panoramio is not a political platform, the demand for human conditions is the most dignified value above ANYTHING, and everything else has to bend in front of this.
I like Panoramio a lot, I invested a lot of effort to contribute my best to it, but what is it worth only as a spotless clean garden of nice polished picture albums, and no permission to look and outcry also to about the dark side of this world?
I also miss the account of Vicente Nordeuf, who published expressive fotos of victims of the conflict in Palestine. Has this also been deleted by you? There were no political or racist messages, just the fotos.
Sorry for abusing your beautiful foto for this message, I just wanted to be sure you get it. Thanks for your answer, and thanks for your work for this Panoramio, to which I owe having met a most precious friend.
Christianes, I am sorry for that, but copying copyrighted photos to Panoramio is not allowed and those were the cases you mentioned. It wouldn't be any problem if photos were taken by the uploader itself, but that's not the case.
I agree that human rights are over everything else, but I believe Panoramio is not the right platform in the same way the door of your home is not the right place for paintings.
You can upload photos of a conflict without making Panoramio useless. Some ideas: the separation wall between Israel and Palestina, the destroyed fields, a bombed house, etc. All those photos contain clear political messages and can include any text you wish according to the Acceptance Policy. Of course, those photos need to be taken by you.
Another option is not to map those photos because unmapped photos they don't interfere with the normal use of Panoramio.
He pasada ya tres o cuatro veces por esta foto.. y es dificil de definir...pero la verdad me llama mucho la atención..Muy...linda....Saludos para ti Eduardo desde Galicia.Ana
