My contest picture
Nick, you are very welcome! Indeed, I have had night shots ruined by invisible-to-the-eye streetlights in a distant town. If the moon's out, it can begin to look a little like day with longer exposures!
Well I find I'm fighting to keep the ISO down and allowing a longer exposure time to reduce noise ~ not that it is particularly noisey but....
btw have a peep at my contest shot in the link below and see if you think it is worth a vote or not ~ it is proving to be exceedingly popular so far this month :)
