What a great shot B-n-P, you must've been in big sister's good books.
Wow, wow, wow, you sure know how to showcase your beautiful city B-n-P
Thanks,Guy ! Yeah, wasn't artsy enough for her. But looks like I'm in 2 big sisters' good book! Thanks so much, Cal :)
This is a fine shot, Bits. That sky is grand, and I like how you got a bit of reflection on the side of that building in the middle. The buildings really look packed in there.
Thanks very much, not1word :)
And I guess that while the tallest ones aren't here, this is the densest concentration of buildings in the city - not that large an area covered by them, though - and as you can see even in this shot there are still a lot of the small 1800's brick buildings left. So its pretty human scale for a city. And thanks for noticing that blue reflection! It was funny to notice all the blue bits on so many of the buildings in the shot.
Thanks for showing us your beautiful City. I too like this shot very much, the enlarged view is super too. The moon and planets almost take a secondary place.
Thanks, Marbiz and MartinJ ! That's sort of why I like the shot, marbiz - you have to look at it for a while before you realize the show is there in the sky - which is sort of what it was like for everyone heading home from work. Some saw it, some were completely unaware. What's also funny to me is that it almost looks like the moon has just bounced up off the building
Really pretty view here, B-n-P! Great photo.
Thanks, Jean - Bright Lights Big City!
I like this one
