Cooper Union, New Academic Building: East Facade (Construction-in-Process) - Cooper Square, NYC - November 2008
This building will replace the one currently used by the school for architectural and engineering classes, which is on the north side of 8th Street between 3rd and 4th Avenues. It was designed by Thom Mayne, winner of the 2005 Pritzker Architecture Prize.
hey lucia,
it seems like you got it - that thing with food and more... lol.
If you like to visit what else we could watch... you're welcome :)
And yes, youre right with your hint: here is the correct one for the morning freshening up with some coffee.
Btw: this weekend we had "hard work" inside the kitchen to finish some cresents and other sweets for christmas (or spring or summer or fall or winter) ... you like to see?

Thank you Lucia ... we walked along that one more than 5 times when going up to Astor Place Subway.
Is that coffe car still near that place?
Going through your Gallery is like walking around well known places :)
I love it!

Hi michael,
Food and refreshments never seem far from your mind! ;) (FYI, you seem to have linked to this photo in your post, not to one of yours.)
Prize winning architect or not, I so far think that this is an unattractive building.Maybe it will look better when finished.
