Hi Enonim. Actually, it's not as cold as one would think. At least not if you take the latitude into consideration ;) I think the average winter temperature in Longyearbyen is about –15 C, and summer about +7. But you can get plus degrees in winter and minus in summer as well. You can check weather data at the UNIS site if you like.
