In driving down the Julierpass, the valley of the Upper Engadin opens with its beautiful lakes and light. Allegra! Whenever I am here, I feel happy and full of energy.

View to the Muottas Muragl, a place with a marvellous view near the Schafberg, where the famous Giovanni Segantini died in 1899.

Gabor, thank you so much for your very friendly comment! If I find the time, I will also put the autumn photos of the same places, it's amazing to see how it changed inside of 5 weeks. All my best wishes, May

Kedves Tamás, thank you very much for your virtual visit to my beloved mountains! I was wondering how you are and I am happy that you have given a sign to show that you are ok. Warm regards, Margit

I really thank you so much May, for showing me this place and for giving it specially for me...The colours are great, and one can see the litlle colour spots of **Segantini*'s paintings and its spirituality... Of course I'll keep it!Un abrazo, Edmundo

Marvelous rich greens and an almost unreal blue in the lake. This is a great series, May, and thanks for sharing it.

Blai, thanks so much! Sorry for not having answered your question before! Via dal Farrer means in Romansh Road of the Blacksmith. Warm regards, May

""Edmundo**, thank you very much! That's only the beginning, there will be many more photos of the Engadin. At the moment I will show some Christmas photos and some from the snowy landscape around my house. Abrazos, May

Lyana, thanks a lot! May

Keith, I am happy that you like those photos! Thank you very much! Best wishes, May

Barbara, vielen Dank! Liebe Grüsse, May

Peter, thank you very much! I am sorry, you weren't that lucky, when you came here. Of course it needs a little time or you have to feel at home to discover the beauties. Which part have you been to? Warm regards, May

thor☼odin™ on December 14, 2008

May Yes I think that part of it is to know the 'good places'. Once I came by train from Chur to St. Moritz and then hiked along the lake to Pontresian and then up to Fuorcla Pischa and down into the Italian Valle di Federia then back into Switzerland with a golden moment on a mountaintop further on via S-chanf over the mts. to Bergün...One of my best holidays! Best wishes, Peter

Roger, thank you very much for your nice comment! Best regards, May

Peter, so you've been to some of the best places in Switzerland. On "our" trip we will, (beside the Bernina and the lower part of the Engadin), cross the Albulapass as well. I am really glad that you've had a good holiday then. :)

Best greetings, May

Merci, Domi! ;)
