Hello Erwin, Thanks for your kind comments. The photo was taken on a calm clear morning, first because the flower was very tall, about 1.8 meters and I did not want movement and second to get a high shutter speed to stop blur due to camera movement as I had to hold the it above my head and frame on the screen. I did this to acheive the background that I wanted and also to be able to see into the flower. The camera really did the rest.
The only enhancement was mild sharpening in photoshop and I also reduced the file size.
