Delaware Hotel, Leadville, Colorado

Named in honor of their home state, The Delaware Hotel was built by William F., George F. and John W. Callaway in 1866. John Callaway was proprietor.

The Delaware Hotel is located in the heart of historic Leadville’s downtown district and has housed both the famous and the infamous, with guests such as Carrie Nation, “Baby Doe” Tabor and Doc Holliday.
