Super pic, I remember the older flat bridge circa 1950's you had to walk around the bridge, the small pond to right of picture was for the hockie players, other 2 ponds at Elm Park were for skaters. They played tough on the hockie pond loosing a tooth was the norm for any day. Good skaters high school and collage.

Mixed blessing a Beautiful brigde crafted after the original bridge, but then it was discovered a person limited to a wheel chair couldn't make the slope. Dam if you do, and Dam if you don't. Two such bridges at Elm Park, copied the originals from circa 1890. The high rise allows skaters to pass under in winter and once boats were used in the summer. Bridge in picture is at the north end of park.
