If you zoom in middle of the trees on Google Earth you could be excused for thinking this was a hidden launcher for a scud missile.

On yes, I can see it! Do you think it's anything to do with grading pebbles, or sand or gravel? It seems enormous, but has it got a screen at the far end where the person is standing?

What a very interesting find! Thanks for the link, peter, I'm intrigued. I even asked hubbie what he thought, but (admittedly, he was otherwise engaged when I asked him,) even he didn't know, and he spends a long time looking at strange machines on the web, or in one of his very yellow books.. (everything is yellow, have you noticed that? Well, apart from a dash of turquoise, every darned machine in those books is the same boring, baby pooh yellow. I wonder why?

I have rambled on again, haven't I, Peter, it's a rather major fault of mine....

Very best wishes to you..

If you go to the next picture you can see a little of the next piece of the contraption, two giant wooden hands that could do a lot of damage. They may give a clue to the use.

Regards, Peter
