I was with the US 84th Division in Verdenne a short distance from Hotton from December 23 to 29 1944, I am amazed at the interest in that time. A reenactment, I could direct as I was there. Doug Harvey 1st Bn 334 Reg. 84th Infantry Division.
Thanks for your comment, it must have been a terrible winter. When I was a boy I read the John Toland book 'battle of the bulge' and I have been interested in Ardennes stories ever since
