Wow, Sam nice one. Aren't they gorgeous, delicate and intoxicating. These 'Paddo's' this is slang for 'Paddenstoel' wich is the Dutch name for Mushroom, are forbidden (selling)in Holland.

Here is some info:

02 December 2008 Ban on sale of magic mushrooms in force

The production, trafficking and sale of fresh magic mushrooms (hallucinogenic mushrooms) is prohibited from today.

The Public Ministry informs that the enforcement of the ban magic mushrooms primary focus is on taking action against the industrial production and trafficking and sale of magic mushrooms. It is up to the local triangle (head officer, mayor and chief) to decide on the interpretation of local enforcement. In that triangle decisions will be made on how to do this.

The Association of Dutch Municipalities (VNG) wonders whether there is enough capacity in the police to enforce. The municipality of Amsterdam has already informed the ban magic mushrooms not yet actively to maintain, because there are currently too many ambiguities how it should be maintained.

Greetings Erik

I always knew them as Fly Agaric but that is its non latin name I guess ~ and is caring that much anyway ~ when what we should be saying is ~ lovely shot of a beautiful toadstool that I would not touch with a Dutch bargepole! (Interesting to read Eric's account above too.)
