Wow! Nice Scally! Glasgow is a big city, buildings are definitely lined up. The sky is blue and polluted as in Marseille!

Cheers, Bernard

Harry Taggart on December 11, 2008

Hi Bernard Glasgow is big, but not trop dirty today, all the works are gone, These high flats where the highest in Europe when Built in 1962, Now mostly filled with refugees from Kosavo, Poland. Africa, Iraq, and Marseilles (LOL). you managed to draw your last game in Spain. Celtic won their game in Spain, but the pair of them are still out of Europe. still there is always next year. :-)) cheers scally

Faintlightofdawn on December 11, 2008

Everything seems to be quite uniform in this part of town Scally. Are you taking this shot from a similar development? Fai

Harry Taggart on December 12, 2008

Hi Fain, this and a couple of other shots are taken from a public Park, must be similar to your Panorama Eye shot, Good view all over the north of the City, and with your telelens, there,s lots of windows vulnerable to intrusion. Billy B@rk has a couple of sharper shots off this height, and it was coming from this park I spotted the "Statue of Liberty"LOL cheers scally

Bernard Bost on December 12, 2008

Yeeeeaaahhh Scally, when you say “still there is always next year” you speak as a football player! Here, they don’t stop say things just like that when they lose. If you want Marseillais to fill your buildings, we can send to you, but disadvantage it’s that in Glasgow everybody will speak Marseillais! On craint degun!

Cheers, Bernard

Harry Taggart on December 12, 2008

I hear that the Marseille supporters do not like to spend money Bernard , so you will win nothing again next year, Celtic will win the Scottish League and with that money they will buy some South American Players, When the Marseillais come over to the Red Road Flats their Language will never even be noticed, because they speak every language in the World here except Anglais, cheers scally

Bernard Bost on December 13, 2008

Hi Scally, if we don’t like wasting the money, it’s our quoted Ecossais! On the other hand, I agree with you when you say that we shall win nothing next year. There are things which I don’t understand. Why our best players take off in England? Drogba, Cissé, Nasri, Cantona, Makelele, Pires, Galas, Deschamps, Dessailly, etc. Fortunately that you the Ecossais did not play against English, safe in the World Cup, as all people. Otherwise, you the Ecossais, you would be beaten by the Marseillais! It isn’t Hemdani, who plays in Glasgow Rangers, who would save you. Besides, Glasgow Rangers, it isn’t your thing, isn’t it! Excuse me, at the moment, I am tired. To go back up me, I commanded to Santa Claus a bottle of MacAllan!

Cheers, Bernard

i never knew they were the tallest flats. I also never knew they were full of immigrants.

Cheers, Tony in New Zealand

Harry Taggart on December 14, 2008

Hi tony, they were when they were first built, and they are not the only flats in Glasgow to have a immigrant population, They mostly don,t want to come to scotland, but the London Gov, bribe Glasgow Council to take them off its hands. Read the comment above, the old Celtic - Rangers revelry must be well known? still taking a wee paddle in your Lake.Cheers scally

Harry Taggart on December 14, 2008

Hi Bernard, Porquoi nous Franaise vendre tout les trois bon Players a angleterre I will never understand. One would think that your money is more important than winning. Cantona is, or was as good as the best, yet les Francaise sold him to un Ecossaise (Alex Ferguson), We do not play so good, but we are not as fond of argent as les Francaise. Slainte scally

Bernard Bost on December 14, 2008

Hi Scally! Me personally I can’t do anything about it. I undergo, and the money I don’t see colour. On the other hand the good players, I see them leaving and that hurt me in the heart! Because later, we lose matches! This evening Marseille plays against Lyon. I think that it is necessary to look at the match with handkerchiefs at hand.

Cheers, Bernard

Beautiful shot. Greetings, Juan.

Harry Taggart on December 15, 2008

Hola blai. If people want to live in a high density on limited area. one would think that upward was the easy answer, but it hasn,t worked in the UK, they are blasting these types of Flats down all over the Country. For some reason they are anti-social, problems with play areas for children and general vandalism : the Lifts being very vulnerable. A song was written about how the Children living in the old 4 storied Flats, could no longer get their mid meal snacks thrown to them from the newer high ones, It is very funny, claiming that in high winds the sandwiches are rising to Orbit, rather than dropping to earth. the songs name is "You Canna Fling your Pieces oot a 20 Storied Flat" lol cheers scally

Harry Taggart on December 15, 2008

Many thanks Juan for your nice comment, regards scally from Glasgow.

Tony Reid on December 15, 2008

So, the social experiment of the 60s failed then, Scally??

Cheers, Tony in New Zealand

Harry Taggart on December 16, 2008

In the last year I,ve watched 4 in the Gorbals and 1 in Paisley getting blown up on TV, they usually do it at a funny time but the next one I think I,ll have a shot at, cheers scally, still got a few paddles in that lake, tony

Harry Taggart on December 19, 2008
