i enjoy the photo, but this too... is one of the guns located at the western tip of the besio island as you can see mostly from the vegetation.

Yes you got that 100% right but its been a very long time since i was sitting on this gun(front) way back in the 1960's. Betio will be very different to how i remember it but they are still a great memory and i am glad to share some of my fathers old slides. steve
