Trog, Your vast knowledge and story-telling skills are amazing. I am nearly speechless. You have quite a way with writing and holding one's attention to the fullest. My goodness, I enjoyed every word. I especially loved the last story about the fishing episode, and, of course, imagining you as a youngster petting all the cats as your parents did business. Do you write for a living? If not, you should.

I knew very little about this place, and now I feel so informed. Once again, I thank you for taking the time to share this valuable history with me. I feel quite privileged.

I am heading to bed now, and will most likely dream about some fun adventures at Massengale's Mill.

Many thanks again and wishing you a wonderful Wednesday,

Mary Alice

I would love to spend some time with her as well! She sounds delightful, and I'm sure she could entertain us for days! How wonderful that her mind is still sharp after all these years. A true blessing indeed. I think you should plan a trip and go to visit her before it's too late. :)

Best wishes right back to you on this beautiful Friday,

Mary Alice
