A question that certainly deserves an answer!

The photo is taken in winter from the other side of the canal, looking towards the Aston Villa Football Club Training Ground. In the summer that side of the canal will have canal barges moored, as people take to the canals for leisure activities.

The table looks like one that you would see in an old Inn, and it seems to have been moved to the side of the towpath for further use at a later date.
