Thanks cbjo, it was very cold that day. I was happy to arrive home and sit by a nice warm fire. Regards, Anita

Many thanks Joce Malham is very popular with tourists, especially walkers as there are miles of beautiful open countryside to discover. Regards, Anita

Cheers Fai, it's certainly lonely up there. Only the occasional rambler and the odd sheep to converse with :) Regards, Anita

Dear Anita,

I know exactly where you were, the gate in particular, and I can imagine the icy breeze as the sun had gone from view. I trust that Brian was confident on the road if he was driving and you were photographing (for that's what you position on the road implies) with the snow about, for the descent just ahead into Malham would be a bit tricky, if there was ice at all on the road.

This image speaks very clearly and beautifully.

Sorry for the delay in thanking you Ian We have tackled some treacherous conditions. As you know Ian some of roads in the Dales are difficult even in the Summer months. Brian enjoys a challenge :) Best wishes, Anita
