I just looked through your fantastic collection of photos. You are a very good photographer. I din't know you were from France when I commented on you calling the steam engine in Kingman a "Challenger". You are correct, in France you would refer to that as a Challenger. I really did enjoy your photos. Please refer to my website if you feel like it. It is about photographing trains in North America and right now I have written about the Southwest USA because I live in Las Vegas. I will add more around the country as I go. It is www.northamericanrails.com Again, I really like your photos especially the TGV.

Thank you for your compliment. Glad you enjoyed the website, and if you ever get the chance to come to the southwest USA, let me know. I will try to help you make your trip as great as it can be. Years ago, my wife, who is from England, and I rode the Eurostar to Paris, France, and we went to the railroad station (I'll say and spell this wrong) Grand De Lyon and got some great photos of the TGV coming in and out of the station. (I'll be adding some of those photos to the website soon, look for updates.) This was before 2001, and the security let me just stand at the edge of the platform and photograph all afternoon long. I'm sure that you can no longer do that.
You are not a "little photographer", you have a very good "eye" for the photo composition. Better than alot of railroad photographers. E-mail me anytime if you feel like it. Find the e-mail address on the website. Again, thanks - Randy

Glad you enjoyed the website! Look for a new page showcasing my photos of the TGV that I got when my wife (from England), and I traveled to England and France. Back in 1998, we rode on the Eurostar, and then after security chased us out of the station the Eurostar goes to, we went to the "Gare de Lyon" station and was able to stand out on the end of the platform all afternoon. Most photos are more of what I call a "roster" photo, but I was taking more of those type of photos anyway. I would love to get more TGV photos with more scenery in the photo. The best train photos I could do then were went the trains were entering or leaving the station. Look for that new page to appear in the next couple of months.
