Excellent B-n-P. See the upside down frog? Well sort of. Its like looking at clouds on the ground and the shawdows add another element. I really like this one. The colours are lovely too.

Thanks, Cal ! Yeah - this one's a real Rohrschatz test! Every time I look at it I see something different. But for your upside-down frog, well, as New Englander, I see a lobster! Thanks for liking this! The ice was really gorgeous, and the sun on the horizon lit it all up. I could post a whole page that was just ice formations.

Almost looks like a satellite photo, B-n-P.

Dann.

Thanks Jean ! There were so many great little ice vignettes that morning. And it's funny: when I look at the thumbnail, I see the frog/lobster as the face of some person from the Yellow Submarine movie looking to the lower left.

I am really going to enjoy all of the ice/snow photos, this one is great B-n-P and yes the more you look the more you see. Dianne

Thanks dianne ! This may go down as my least viewed shot, so I'm grateful for all of you who do like it, too!!

diannemcd on December 19, 2008

Are you taking it off? I hope not to interesting.

kamalyn on December 19, 2008

thanks, dianne - no, it will probably stay, because I really like it. but it'll be interesting to see just how low the view count can stay!

diannemcd on December 19, 2008

Dont worry - mine are all low.

I came across a frozen duck quite recently. :)

OOOPs - a VERY late 'Thank-you' peargrin. Hope you've had lots of nice ice this winter!

And Thanks Tomas! LOL, your shot looks more like a ghost to me, but a cool shape!

And for anyone who likes ice shots, be sure to check out Matti Henrik's gallery !!!!

Pretty brilliant gallery that is, thanks for the link.

Here are some more interesting ice shots, especially the macros.

Greets, Tomas
