Thanks very much, Conrad and Miguel ! After the shot I posted of geese landing, I felt I owed it to them to post a nice dignified one, too. And wishes for a happy holiday season for you both. Cheers!

Very nice B-n-P, I see Airgoose flight-#2 is missing a couple navigation lights and is getting an escort to the landing field.

LOL, Guy. Actually, I just snapped the shot right at the split second both strobes on the right one were in the 'off' phase. Thanks! (And I'm really glad they'd all only just woken up and hadn't gotten their digestive tracks working yet as I was standing right under them...thank goodness - no jettisoned cargo!)

You did and it is awesome! Wow!

You wrote under my contest photo: A jet just broke the sound barrier? :D

I just want to let you know that you were 100% right. My husband actually has a photo of the reflection of the jet here!

MoMof4 on December 17, 2008

By the way: Your birds are better than any jet!

Greetings from Connecticut, Barbara

Beets-n-Peas, check your title! These dudes anywhere near the Hudson River?

Bits-n-Pieces on January 16, 2009

No - Those must have been errant Canada Geese. These are much smarter Massachusetts Geese! Beets-Peas-n-SPAM! Yum Yum!

Nicely done, Bits. Those highlights really do make the shot. A+.
