Very interesting structure to this flower! The photo is pretty and I like the flower, but...
I can't help thinking of the Sarlacc pit from Return of the Jedi. Not the special edition, but the original in 1983. :-)

LOLOL after looking at your link I can appreciate why the above made you think that way.
The above was supposed to Georgia Peach but it turned out to be a cross. My heart wasn't broken when I discovered it's rhizome had turned to mush over the winter.

Hi Pam, it is a nice flower and a good photo. Is it swimming ? I am looking forward to the spring because I've got now a 50-300mm lense. But there are no flowers and no insects around fall. You took some cool flower pictures. And I know you too are waiting for the upcoming flower season.
Greetings,
Carsten

It's floating on the surface of the water Carsten. It's a hardy water lily and I will be hauling it and the other ones I have in this week (as well as my somewhat chilled, but also hardy, fish).
I'm excited now to see your pictures too! :D Both you and Ryan have a similar lens so it's going to be exciting seeing the spring items pop on your pages! :D
