Hello Pajko, thank you for your visit and kind comment. I have visited your gallery and wanted to comment on a couple of photos, but Panoramio must have been so busy, and I got stuck. I will try again later.
Amelia, an excellent shot. The beautiful colors and the shape of the tree give the photo something special. Great.

Dear greetings from Germany,
Amelia, congrats on excellent photography. Stunning. As a boy I was sent to stay near Boreatton Park where my grandfather was the caretaker. My memories are still as vivid today as they were at the time and although many years have now passed by I still stop in passing at Ruyton or visit the Park (now PGL) I was pleased to see that your beautiful village as not suffered too many scars from the ravages of time. It is still a place to be cherished by those who live there. Regards. Michael C
Good morning Ge Ko, Thank you so much for your comment and many apologies for the late reply. I'm really behind now with everything, but will visit your gallery soon :)
Amelia, I am trying to get a collection of photographs of Boreatton Park and the surrounding area together but I am finding it difficult to locate any 'old' photos from the 1940s-1960s. Can you suggest anything?
Hi Mike, you might like to try getting in contact with Yoland brown, our local historian, who has written a couple of books. Her mail address is:
You can say I sent you - Amy Heath!
I wish you luck in your quest :)
Many thanks Amelia. A quest it is. Trying to find where the plans for Boreatton Park where lodged would try the patience of Indianna Jones !!!
