Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
With this collection of my photos I would like to make a small gift to all my Panoramio’s friends who did not have the possibility to see and feel the special Christmas atmosphere of Germany seen in my eyes!
In Germany like in many other places in Europe and maybe no only, you could be impressed by lots of small nice things for Christmas in the windows looking to the street and of course many lights. The small chandeliers there usually were made by wood and very beautiful!
In some German city like Mainz in front of every shop you will find a ** Special Snowman**! I think that the children gardens there have something like a race between them to make more beautiful Snowman! They are very lovely and makes you to smile passing.
And of course generally in Germany in every big city you can find Big Christmas Open Market which are very nice place to spend your free time, just to enjoy and to have some delicious food (typical Weiswurst with hot wine), sweeties and to find some special and unique gift for Christmas!
In the photo you can see Special Typical Crib in Germany!
In my native country Bulgaria people usually are preparing their houses inside for Christmas and of course with the traditional Christmas tree! The lights there still are not fashion outside but in the big cities municipality is going to put the special lights outside in nowadays!
But in Bulgaria in Christmas, there is some very special tradition I will let you know later in my Special Christmas Card for you! :-)
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everybody who read this one!
My best wishes, Mimi
Original photo, very interesting! Merry Christmas. . . and a Happy 2009! My best wishes from Korinthos Hellas (Greece) . **Let's save our planet. **
So lovely! Very nice photo, especially with the birds flying around the Christmas pyramid...little symbols of peace and freedom, very appropriate.
Many thanks Kartson and Wolf for your nice comments and wishes to me!
My Best Wishes & Greetings, Mimi
this pyramid is lovely, with the typically multi tiered levels. Your photo has a cosy atmosphere to it with the lovely house facades in the background and the birds (they look like seagulls to me, somehow). Best wishes, susan
Many thanks for your kind comment and visit Susan! Yes, they are seagulls. Now these birds are going even very from the sea. We have them also in Bulgaria inside the ground country.
My Best Wishes,
