Interesting detail, Marilyn

It's that wonderful eye of yours, Marilyn.
Greetings from Miami, Mary
Great detail, Marilyn!
Warm regards, Eva
Very interesting detail Marilyn. I'm courious about the ratio. Ciao, Daniela
Thank you, Tony, Mary, Eva, and Daniela.
This statue of Ramses II lies protected in a building in Memphis built so that viewers can look down upon it from a walkway. The giant sculpture is 10m (33ft) tall, so you can see that the hand and seal are very large!
I posted a photo of the head and shoulders of the statue, but I took it down within a few seconds of putting it up. It was nice, as good a photo as I could get under the circumstances, but there are other adequate ones on Panoramio. This view is much more distinctive! Cheers, Marilyn
I like distinctive!
I do too, and you have an unerring instinct for it, Marilyn
Thanks for your nice words!
This is a lovely shot Marilyn. It shows your searching eye. I have just read your comments about it. You are a very selective person!
Thank you, Amelia, for your very nice comment, and best wishes for 2009. Marilyn
Your strong eye has framed a very powerful image- gold stars*** for this, Marilyn! -alicia
I'm very glad you like this image, Alicia. I think some who saw me take it thought I was a bit strange! And special thanks for the *.
Marilyn, I suppose you could of turned round and said 'It's OK. It's for Panoramio'.
Mind you, you'd probably still get strange looks at that comment.
