This was taken Friday night at about 10 PM, 19 Dec 2008. It has a more pronounced "fish-eye" look to it than some of my panoramas because the photo extends to include 180 degrees: the left end and the right end of the photograph are literally in opposite directions from the photographer so that if he were looking in one direction the other would be directly behind him. This isn't possible with the more common "rectilinear" projection. 179 degrees? Sure -- although it is going to look pretty funny at the edges. 180 degrees? Not possible. In fact, rectilinear projections aren't recommended for anything above 120 degrees.
