Thanks, Geerten. This is in a neighborhood called Waverly, which dates from the 1840s as a separate town a few miles up the road toward York, Pennsylvania. Now it is well within the city limits of Baltimore. Waverly was one of the pioneering examples of neighborhood preservation in the US, with the first efforts at rehabilitation dating from the late 1930s.
What a great photo :) your appreciation of colour and finding the unusual in the ordinary is something that works well for you. I bet you wish the cars weren't there, but then again, we cant control the world around us just to fabricate a "perfect" photo. The cars tell a story against the bright housing, and make me wonder what that story is!
