Hello Sarah yes Alan and i had the plate made in 2007 and i found a nice piece of wood to fit it to then climbed Ben Nevis with it in October 2007 and placed it on the Peace cairn on the summit around the area Jim's ashes were scattered

ME PLACING PLAQUE
Hello Steve Thanks so much for these links, I've seen one of them (with you and the plaque) but it was great to see this other one. I'am just getting this, we have been out with some friends for supper. This is such a great photo of the three of you, it is good to see the great friend whom you honored with that nice plaque. Did he leave any family behind and if so, they know you did this, right? Thanks again Steve, I'am so glad you thought to send these to me. I've enjoyed both links very much.
Hello Sarah i though the one of the three of us would fill the story of the plaque Jim had a brother and a few other family members and i believe Alan may have told them ?? .. i hope you had a lovely meal all of you Sarah and thanks for your interest
best wishes steve
A great way to remember a friend, steve! Yesterday I arrived back in the Netherlands from a holiday in Scotland. I haven't climbed Ben Nevis yet, because my kids are still to young. Scotland is a beautiful place, and I will go there again. If I climb Ben Nevis, I'll look for this special plaque!
Hello Norrel thank you.. our friend Jim climed many mountains around the U.K with us ( Alan .. Topspotter ) and myself and had his ashes scattered on the summit of Ben Nevis so thought we would honour him too with this plaque
