Located at the confluence of the South Southern Ocean, Atlantic and Pacific in the east to the west, the archipelago of Tierra del Fuego is separated from the Patagonian Andes and through the Strait of Magellan, divided between Argentina and Chile. The Beagle Channel separates the main island of Navarino and Hoste islands.
