Hahaha... You're very observant. Thank you very much Marilyn. I love this shot and the sculture. Merry Christmas.
thats a funny looking fella marilyn! whats the storey behind him?
Thanks for checking, Pepe--and for educating me! I'm glad you like this.
Steve, I knew nothing about Botero until Pepe remarked several months ago that the statue in one of my photos reminded him of Botero's work, so then I read up on him. I was so pleased that I recognized this statue in a sculpture garden in Jerusalem as one of his that I didn't pay attention to the name of the statue, only that of the artist!
Christmas greetings to both of you. Marilyn
There was an exibition in Milan too, last year. I love the scultures and the pictures too, they are a bit funny. Cheers, Daniela
its a great photo daniella ,i love statue and sculpture photos, have you seen any of mine tagged illuminated man/iron man?
Thanks, Daniela for the comment and the link. And if you haven't seen Steve's "illuminated man" collection, you should. It's a fascinating series! Cheers, Marilyn
Yes I have, Marilyn.Did you forget,Steve? I saw the exibition of Another Place when it was in Norway,in Stavanger in 1999,time before it was decided to kept it permanently at Crosby Beach. The figures were nearby and it was possible to see many more at the same time.I loved it very much.I have printed photos of them.Should I have time once... Cheers,Daniela
