Manchioneel Bay Sunset

This 360° Panorama was the highlight of my day. "Splice da main brace, matey!"

Having seen your comment on the Dominica photo, I now wonder what is real and what is force? Is this photo genuine. It really is good. Almost looks like a painting!

"Looks like a painting.' I've heard that before. Well, as you probably already know, a 360° Panorama takes several exposures to get such extreme in highlights-to-shadow areas balanced. The sunset here was extremely over-exposed compared to the rest of the scene. I had shot a darker sky scene and blended a composite with "A LOT" of retouching in the sky. So much, in fact, that it felt like I virtually painted the sky in. Also, some colors were brushed-in as color only mode to bring back the feeling I had when I was there. SOme have called it "memory color".

Thanks for the explanation. The reason I mentioned it was that we bought some paintings that had similar colour & texture.

Or, take it to your local drug store photomat. They can do pretty nice work, for surprizingly little money. Especially when you consider how long it can take you to zero-in your own printer.
