For you and your family Merry Christmas Leo.

best wishes from germany Micha

Thank you very much, Micha.

I was telling my wife yesterday how much I miss the Christkindlmarkt in Germany. We tried to go to one or two every weekend during advent. Michelstadt was probably my favorite.

The food was fantastic. The crepes, champignons, schweinebraten and especially the glühwein! We made some glühwein for a party at my house on Halloween and my friends loved it.

We wish you a very Merry Christmas and health and happiness in the New Year, Leo

Yes of course Leo. We went on 17th to Hamburg to Christkindlmarkt. I make my first nightshot for PA. Yes, the food and drinks are very good but I must be careful. I don't take so much. If you want the second step for your friends you must make "Feuerzangenbowle". I like the burning sugar.

I wish for you and your family always healthiness. Have a good start to 2009.

my best regards from germany Micha

Are these real snowflakes? They are so beautiful and each one is different. Great shot, Leo! Best wishes, Anne

Wow, Micha! Thanks for the link.

Feuerzangenbowle sounds fantastic. We will have to try it. I'm sure we can find everything here that we need to make it. It is too late for Christmas, but maybe for New Years. I think we will have to be careful mixing wine and fire :)

Thank you very much, Anne.

Yes, these are real snowflakes. Like the water drops in this one these snowflakes were on the hood of my truck. I was really surprised at how intricate and delicate they are as I had never looked so closely before.

Kietzi63,

Thank you very much for your kind words and especially for the YS.

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy Hew Year, Leo

Hello Leo, this is an amazing approach of the micro reality of our world. Thanks for bringing for us something I had never seen directly.

I hope you had a nice Christmas time, and wish to you and your family all the happiness, health and wealth for the New year. Greetings, Carlos

Carlos Thank you so much for your kind comments. This was a first for me also. I was surprised at the intricacy of the flakes. I am so glad that I happened to have my camera with me to capture this.

Billy Amazing is an understatement! I keep going back to this and the other pictures of these flakes because I just can't believe the beauty. Nature gives us so much beauty that man can never come close to duplicating.

I wish you both health and happiness in the New Year!

Warmest regards, Leo
