Very wet day :-), actually early morning. Was hoping to catch the sunrise over the mountains but the clouds were attached to the mountain summits. :-)

I really like this photo. The contrast of color between the wet grass, green bush, black looking trees is spectacular. It reminds me of the few foggy mornings I spent up there.

Beautiful image. How much is real? How much is Photoshop?

Actually the whole thing is real. My wife and I went for an early morning walk above the Rim of the World highway in the San Bernardino mountains. The clouds were laying in a heavy layer on the mountains tops, it was late spring, and we wandered through an area that had been burnt over a couple years earlier, so the effect was really spooky. I have quite a few pictures from that morning, just haven't put them online, other than one more similar to this one.

That's very kind of you....Thank you very much. Your shot of the sunset and clouds above Lake Arrowhead is really beautiful too.

Awesome! The contrast of the colorful foliage which fades to fog. Almost like a combination of color photography with monochrome. Whatever it is... it works.

Thanks, it was a very fogy day, but just enough sun starting to come through. I got very lucky.
