Thanks for all your comments, I see from one of your photos you have been up Hallin Fell, I use to live in a house called Hallin View after it. This photo was taken on a walk from Ashness Bridge to Walla Crag on another glorious morning. Keswick was below the mist and it was one of only three times I have seen a Broken Spectre.

You say "on a walk" as if it's an ordinary thing! I wish I could explore these mysterious regions on a regular basis, but sadly I live in East Anglia. Thanks again for more names of places, I need to formulate a walk route that includes all of these positions in Ullswater. :)
