I took this on 26 Dec 2008.

The winged building on the far left (and right) is the Olympic. The tall cement-colored building is the Financial Center. Hiding between the Financial Center and the Olympic is the grey glass Fourth and Madison and the dark rust Safeco Plaza. The wide building in front with the facade is the Cobb Bvilding. (Yes, they use a Roman "v.")

Above the Cobb is the familiar Washington Mutual Tower, poking out beneath it are the three feathery spikes at the top of the historic Seattle Tower, and to the right is the broad, white Puget Sound Plaza. To the right of the plaza is the 1411 Fourth Avenue building. Behind it is a building with three round glass roofs: the Century Square. To the right is the Red Lion Hotel - with a red lion insignia in the upper right corner. The building of dark glass is the City Centre.

The older building with the flag on top is the Washington Athletic Club. The wide building beneath it with the red tiled roof is the Skinner Building, and if you look closely you may recognize the Two Union Square building to the right of the Skinner and above the St. John.

Dominating the picture on the right is of course the Rainier Tower. The picture itself was taken on the roof of "the building" surrounding the Rainier Tower, third floor, which is actually part of the same building. To the right of Rainier Tower is the IBM Building followed by the Olympic.
