Wonderful photo of this somber weather in this valley. There is not much light to take a shot.

Steve and Jan Always nice to have your positive comments. I have more pictures of this valley in wonderful lighting - so watch out. Steve, I've taken a look at quite a few of your slides and some are really great. Jan, I expect to see your older slides or scanned photo's in the near future too?

Hi Herb, I have noticed your pictures many a time on here and there are some lovely shots ,however the ones that always stand out above all that you do are the ones like this. I can tell from your Wharfedale pictures that this must be where your roots lie . I love the Yorkshire moors and dales and always hope that love comes across in my pictures, it certainly does in yours.
Beautiful !
regards, Sam

Pali thanks for liking this. I am happy I have pleased you here.
Sam, it is always a great pleasure reading comments like yours here. Before answering this, I have taken a quick look at your gallery and now know that we are on the same wavelength as far as the Dales are concerned. I get up there often and love the feeling of nature and light as depicted by my attempts at capturing them. I love, in particular the Wharfedale area and if viewers recognise, as you have, my love for these parts then I have done the job right.
Best regards to you both, Herb
