Fai--It must have been all those nursery rhymes I learned as a child, I just couldn't bring myself to eat a poor little lamb ;>)
Billy--these were the healthiest looking sheep I have ever seen, content and warm ;>)
Nick--It was my snowball!! its just that I am not a very good shot ;>)
Juan--Our sheep are very clever, and playfull ;>)
Rafl--Sheep bring out the tenderness in us ;>)
Ian--that joke was baabaric--;>)
trikermike--I read this three times before the penny dropped;>) that's what I call a play on words !!
Thanks for all your great comments guys ;>)--------Jim
EWE'RE WELCOME jIM
awww, they are too baautiful to eat, Jim! Sending you vegetarian greetings from Germany, susan
su.schle.~~~what a coincidence (and a pleasant surprise) finding you here Susan, and in good time for Christmas too!! Is it your good-self that composes all those bad Christmas Cracker jokes??
I was thinking the same only yesterday when I checked the post on this page!! Nothing since trikermike and his amusing quip!! Hi! Mike!
Well Susan!! it is a pity that you are a vegetarian, It's no use inviting you to my lamb chop baaabecue!!
Ooh another baaa-becue quip!! Those poor li'l lambs are going to be fleeced, Jim??
So glad I'm not a sheep. They look so gentle, soft and fluffy and cute - and juicy and tender if you're a carnivore. For shame!!
Warmest wishes from (hovering between vegetarian / carniverous) Hazel
Rhese two look a bit like a couple I was freinds with in the old days, Baaa-sil & Baar-bara_, but that was years ago now, it could be theses two are the great great great gr4andchildren
Good photo Jim, they seem to be used to you being near to them, well done mate!
Hazel Coetzee~~~~I can forgive you for thinking that I dont care about responding to comments Hazel..I humbly apologise...If it is any consolation, I will stop eating lambs ;>)
trikermike---These wooly jumpers are the stuff of fairy tales Mike...How could any one wish to consume them. Give me a nice piece of Pork any day..
"Three little piggies and the big bad wolf"..or "This little piggy----" ;
British..No probs Si..just let me know when you are coming to town and you can drop the photo off..Have you got my number? My next photo shoot is planned to coincide with low water at dawn...This is a good time to get some spectacular beach/seashore/scar shots..The beach at Port has great potential for the type of photos I have in mind..That means getting down to the shore well before sun-up. You know the lie of the land/shoreline here Si, I would be looking for open shallow pools, rock formations, sand/pebbles at the low water mark..Early morning light, with that violet/purple/deep azure blue tint can offer rare opportunities for stunning photos, especially if the scar is wet and no breezes...The alternative location, which is much easier to access (carrying all my gear is hard work) is the beach at Robin hoods Bay.
Hrrrm, Good comment Jim, but I do not eat any product of the curly tail animal, ......used to though, lots of it with sage & onion, apple sauce, or cold with pickled onion or chutney.....DAMMIT! I just have porridge for brekky now....no bacon, no bangers,.....boo-hooo!
Jolly good to catch up, e.mail if you wanna chatter on about nowt!
Malaya..Thanks for stopping by ;>)
Well done, now I'm hungry just before going to bed!!! I hope you didn't eat them all ;)
