This picture reminds me of the moss in this photo which I rescued from the hot sun after a piece of earth moving machinery had been moved from a lush damp patch. The pad of moss had turned to stiff clay with a few dead fronds left, but when I stuck it on the edge of this waterfall, it grew into a miniature forest. I make a habit of rescuing traumatized moss now, it's most rewarding!
