Buffalo sacrifice in Tana Toraja, Sulawesi (Indonesia)
Excellent photo! Really captures the grizzly action of a water buffalo sacrifice. I understand that the Toraja people kill water buffalo like this as part of a "death feast". For a year or so after the death of a prominent person the family saves up to put on such a death feast.
Scene impressionnante, photo qui rend bien le mouvement.
