As it looks in my photogallery
Austria is from my best favorites countries
and this shot is an extremely marvellous shot
full snowy & full sunny ...
Hi Kostas ~ I was conceived in Austria so I'm told but had never been back until last year, it is a wonderful place and these mountains amongst the best. All the very best to you Kostas from nick
Oh, glacier... On the miniature it looks like a wet road in the sunrise. Fantastic view, maybe it will be an archive view in few years due to global warming? Cheers, Hubert
Hi Hubert no not glacier just the remains of winder snow that melted very late last year in Austria in the high parts. There are many proper glaciers to be seen from this road though, in fact I had three behind me on the mountains there, look up the place on Google it is great and also has the longest, biggest glacier in Austria futher on. But yes they are creeping backwards at the moment Ciao nick
Ohh, I see. Thanks for explanation, Nick.
Hi Hubert go to www.grossglockner.at and you will find lots of great information in German or English :)
