Nick I have no words for all your fabulous pictures! Great work!
Great subjects ~ make easy work ~ thanks Eleni :)
Good colours, good editing, good photo!
Oh Elemer I'm really pleased that you have been browsing in my gallery and found this shot, I don't remember doing much editing to it, maybe cranked the exposure down a tad. I'm so pleased that you like it.
Friendly greetings from nick :)
Hello Nick, My name is David G. Wilson and I am responding to your comment on my painting (davyvon).
I greatly appreciate the comment and I would like to invite you to see more of my work at
I chose to leave the note on this photograph because it is a dream of mine to turn a church that looks like this one into a private house museum. There are several like it for sale in the USA, but my wife thinks that it is sacrilegious to do so (lol).
Well we had had people converting old chapels into dwellings or art studios for years ~ it is a good way of preserving fine old buildings that might otherwise fall into ruins. (Try that argument maybe at home ;)
Thanks for your message I've pulled up your website on another computer here and will have a look later. Good luck
Hallo my dearest...I had a very creative day....you understand why....:)...!!!
Oh yes Dearest immortal one ~~~ I watch over your hard labours .............;)))
wonderful shot! (this is a pitty, that no perspetive changed)
Hiya Hanz thanks for the compliment as regards the angles, well it is a difficult one ~ I did try tilting it this way and that but it seemed best to my eye as it is. You'll notice that everything else in the shot is at an angle too and the tree on the left for example leans too far to the right if you tilt right ~ a real headache this one!!
Hello Nick what a lovely angle on the church here and what lovely light too most certainly a "like" from me again
Steve Drury ~ Well I guess you've been touring Gosport Steve to have found all these old shots and unusually for me an afternoon shot on boxing day ~~ Thanks for your kind comments and like ~ All the best ~ nick
Hello Nick yes i have been around Gosport on Google Earth street view this morning and thankfully did not see you on the balcony in those red shorts :))
did see the Barracks behind your place though but no shot in your gallery
best wishes .. steve
Steve Drury, ~ Gulp ~ Do you mean my red shorts are to be seen elsewhere on GE ~~~~ Um maybe I've never taken a shot of the Barracks that stretch for quite a distance ~ they are all converted to flats these days of course ~ All the best ~ nick
