Parc de Moutiers

Varengeville-sur-Mer is very surprising, it is located just above Dieppe on the white cliffs that stand facing the sea.

The charm it has attracted many artists among Georges "Braque" (Painter), Claude Monet, Albert Roussel (musician) and Georges de Porto Rich, all buried in the beautiful cemetery of the Marine Church Varengeville-sur-Mer, which overlooks the cliffs of the coast Dieppe.

Varengeville is also a wonderful place. There you find Parc des Moutiers,an English garden designed by Guillaume Mallet in 1897. It is a place that we absolutely must visit in the spring and summer, when all the flowers bloom.

This picture was taken by me some years ago and is published in the book Encyclopedia of Hydrangeas or in the translated Dutch version. Het Grote Hortensiaboek

Great photo, love all the little things that add to this photo. Like the stripes on the wall bringing you into that entrance..
