Many thanks for your nice comments to my pics, this is in a roman-catholic chuch with play of Bethlehem, but it shows the belive of the old-old Hungarian religion or tradition : to sprout wheat on the date of 13th of Dec.( it's called Luca day) for fertility and good harvest for the next year to come.
It must be tall, plentifully nice on the Christmas Eve - table.
Unfortunately, modern citisens have no knowledge of they own heritage.

Köszönöm Bajszi a kedves megjegyzésed. Azért volt érdekes ez a Bethlehem, mert keveri a katolikus és az úgynevezett "pogány", ősi magyar szokásokat.
