Thanks again. I posted this picture hoping that the people who own the place where I took this will see it someday. I positioned it on Google Maps very precisely so it shows up exactly where it is. I shot hand-held with a 35mm camera on the spur of the moment early in the morning while loading up my car to head home. Hundreds of bats that were feeding on insects were buzzing all me when I shot it.
Hi Tom. I've been going up to the Villa since I was a little boy and have some great memories of the place. I know the people who own the place very well. I'll make sure they see these photos...they are really some beautiful shots. We're heading up in a few days.
Say hello to everyone for me and my wife, Judie. Do you know if the Villa is open for business again? I know it was closed after Jim's death. Some of our fondest memories are of the Villa. We always like it was a home away from home and there's no nicer people than the Stryckers. Be sure they see all of my Villa Venise pictures. They can also be found simply by doing an Internet search for "villa venise minocqua wisconsin."
